आदरात् पितरं मूर्ध्ना ववन्दत विधानतः संपरिष्वज्य स मुनिर्मूर्ध्न्याघ्राय सुतं ततः

Transliteration

ādarāt pitaraṃ mūrdhnā vavandata vidhānataḥ saṃpariṣvajya sa munirmūrdhnyāghrāya sutaṃ tataḥ

Translation

Com reverência, ele se curvou diante do pai, baixando a cabeça conforme o rito. Em seguida, o sábio abraçou o filho e, cheirando-o (beijando-o) no alto da cabeça, acolheu-o com afeto.
