मार्गे मासि च स्नातव्यं गर्भवासो न जायते । अन्यदापि नरः स्नात्वा विष्णुलोकं स गच्छति

Transliteration

mārge māsi ca snātavyaṃ garbhavāso na jāyate | anyadāpi naraḥ snātvā viṣṇulokaṃ sa gacchati

Translation

Deve-se banhar (aqui) no mês de Mārgaśīrṣa; então não mais surge o renascimento no ventre. Mesmo em outras épocas, o homem que se banha (aqui) vai ao mundo de Viṣṇu.
