Transliteration

śṛṇu saṃgamamāhātmyaṃ vipreṃdra paramādbhutam | skandadevācchrutaṃ samyakkathayāmi tathā tava

Translation

Ó melhor dos brâmanes, escuta a grandeza supremamente maravilhosa da sagrada confluência. Tendo-a ouvido do Senhor Skanda, agora a relatarei a ti com exatidão.
