पूजासंभारमालोक्य तादृशं तं मुनीश्वरः । विस्मितोऽभून्निरानन्दो दक्षिणाऽशां परित्यजन् । उवाच मधुरं वाक्यं वाक्यज्ञानविशारदः
pūjāsaṃbhāramālokya tādṛśaṃ taṃ munīśvaraḥ | vismito'bhūnnirānando dakṣiṇā'śāṃ parityajan | uvāca madhuraṃ vākyaṃ vākyajñānaviśāradaḥ
Ao ver tão escassos os preparos do culto, o senhor dos sábios ficou admirado e sem alegria, abandonando a esperança de dakṣiṇā; versado no discernimento da fala, proferiu então palavras suaves e doces.
