विलयं यांति पापानि जन्मकोटिकृतान्यपि । वृथा संन्यासिनां पुण्यं वृथा च वनवासिनाम्
vilayaṃ yāṃti pāpāni janmakoṭikṛtānyapi | vṛthā saṃnyāsināṃ puṇyaṃ vṛthā ca vanavāsinām
«Os pecados—mesmo os cometidos ao longo de dez milhões de nascimentos—dissolvem-se. Diante disto, o mérito dos renunciantes parece vão, e também o mérito dos que vivem na floresta parece vão.»
