Transliteration

āśaṃsamāno rājānaṃ dharmajñamiti kovidam | sa ca vipro vicinvānaḥ sarvato gāṃ suduḥkhitaḥ

Translation

Esperando o amparo do rei, célebre por conhecer o dharma e por sua sabedoria, aquele brāhmaṇa, tomado de grande tristeza, procurou a vaca por toda parte.
