उद्द्योतं कुरुते सूर्यो यादृक्तस्याभिसंमतः । यज्ञभागं विनाऽप्येष भयात्पार्थिवसत्तम
uddyotaṃ kurute sūryo yādṛktasyābhisaṃmataḥ | yajñabhāgaṃ vinā'pyeṣa bhayātpārthivasattama
Ó melhor dos reis, até Sūrya derrama luz apenas na medida por ele aprovada; e, por medo, continua sua função mesmo sem receber sua parte no yajña.
