ततो हृष्टमना भूत्वा गृहीत्वा तां चतुर्मुखः । पुनर्वर्षसहस्रांते भूमिपृष्ठमुपागतः । दर्शयामास तां विष्णोरेषा लिंगस्य मूर्धतः

Transliteration

tato hṛṣṭamanā bhūtvā gṛhītvā tāṃ caturmukhaḥ | punarvarṣasahasrāṃte bhūmipṛṣṭhamupāgataḥ | darśayāmāsa tāṃ viṣṇoreṣā liṃgasya mūrdhataḥ

Translation

Então Brahmā, o de quatro faces, alegrando-se no coração e tomando aquela flor, retornou após mil anos à superfície da terra. Ele a mostrou a Viṣṇu, dizendo: “Isto é do topo do liṅga.”
