Transliteration

pārthānāmnyabhavatsādhvī devalasya priyā satī | tayā pūrvaṃ tapastaptaṃ tatra sthāne mahīpate

Translation

Houve uma mulher virtuosa chamada Pārthā, a esposa amada e fiel de Devala. Nesse mesmo lugar, ó rei, ela outrora praticou austeridades (tapas).
