वह्निरुवाच । अभक्ष्यभक्षणे शक्रो मामिच्छति नियोजितुम् । तेनैव न करोत्येष वृष्टिं मर्त्त्ये सुरेश्वरः
vahniruvāca | abhakṣyabhakṣaṇe śakro māmicchati niyojitum | tenaiva na karotyeṣa vṛṣṭiṃ marttye sureśvaraḥ
Agni disse: “Śakra deseja empregar-me para consumir o que não deve ser consumido. Por essa mesma razão, esse senhor dos deuses retém a chuva do reino dos mortais.”
