नाद्यापि स तृणा न्यत्ति तेनाहं शोकविक्लवा । रोद्मि व्याघ्र सुतस्नेहात्सत्येनात्मानमालभे
nādyāpi sa tṛṇā nyatti tenāhaṃ śokaviklavā | rodmi vyāghra sutasnehātsatyenātmānamālabhe
“Ainda agora ele não come capim; por isso estou tomada de tristeza. Eu choro, ó tigre, por amor ao meu bezerro. Pela verdade, empenho a mim mesma (em voltar).”
