Pulastya (narrative continuation)
Tirtha: Piṇḍāraka
Type: kshetra
Listener: Rājendra (king)
Scene: After long austerities, Maṅki relinquishes the body; a luminous ascent is shown, culminating in his transformation into a gaṇa in Rudra’s presence.
Devotion and austerity mature into divine service—attaining Rudra’s proximity beyond death.
Piṇḍāraka Tīrtha indirectly, as the place where the tapas leads to Rudra’s gaṇa-status.
No new prescription; it states the result (phala) of prior devotion and tapas.
