ऋषय ऊचुः । एवं भवतु ते ख्यातिस्तीर्थलिंगे वरानने । तव नामान्वितं जातं तीर्थं वै मणिकर्णिका
ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | evaṃ bhavatu te khyātistīrthaliṃge varānane | tava nāmānvitaṃ jātaṃ tīrthaṃ vai maṇikarṇikā
Os sábios disseram: «Assim seja—ó de belo semblante. Que tua fama perdure por meio deste tīrtha e deste liṅga. De fato, surgiu um vau sagrado que traz o teu nome: Maṇikarṇikā.»
