चिंतयंती शिवंतन्वी सर्वभावेन शोभना । चिंतमानां शिवां ज्ञात्वा ह्युवाच विजया सखी
ciṃtayaṃtī śivaṃtanvī sarvabhāvena śobhanā | ciṃtamānāṃ śivāṃ jñātvā hyuvāca vijayā sakhī
A bela e esguia, pensando em Śiva com todo o seu ser, permanecia absorta. Quando sua amiga Vijayā percebeu que Śivā (Pārvatī) se perdia nesses pensamentos, falou-lhe.
