Transliteration

gṛhānnirgatya sāyāhne puradvārabahiḥ sthitā | vanamārgaṃ prapaśyaṃtī patyurāgamanecchayā

Translation

Ao entardecer, ela saiu de casa e ficou do lado de fora do portão da cidade, olhando para o caminho da floresta, desejosa da volta do marido.
