कालो हि हर्ता च चराचराणां तथा ह्यसौ पालकोऽप्यद्वितीयः । स स्रष्टा वै प्राणिनां प्राणभूतस्तस्मादेनं जीवयस्वाशु भूयः
kālo hi hartā ca carācarāṇāṃ tathā hyasau pālako'pyadvitīyaḥ | sa sraṣṭā vai prāṇināṃ prāṇabhūtastasmādenaṃ jīvayasvāśu bhūyaḥ
Kāla, o Tempo, é de fato aquele que arrebata todos os seres móveis e imóveis; e, no entanto, Ele mesmo é também o Protetor sem igual. Ele é o Criador, o próprio sopro vital das criaturas—portanto, reanima-o de imediato.
