स तामुवाच देवेशो महेशः सर्वसिद्धिदः । गच्छ देवि त्वरायुक्ता वचनान्मम सुव्रते
sa tāmuvāca deveśo maheśaḥ sarvasiddhidaḥ | gaccha devi tvarāyuktā vacanānmama suvrate
Então o Senhor dos deuses, Maheśa—doador de todas as realizações—disse-lhe: «Vai, ó Deusa; vai sem demora, tu de nobres votos, conforme a minha palavra».
