वज्रेणापि तदा सर्वे विस्मयं परमं गताः । असुराश्च सुराश्चैव महेंद्रो व्रीडितस्तदा
vajreṇāpi tadā sarve vismayaṃ paramaṃ gatāḥ | asurāśca surāścaiva maheṃdro vrīḍitastadā
Então todos foram tomados pelo maior espanto — mesmo com o golpe do raio — tanto Asuras quanto Devas; e Mahendra sentiu-se envergonhado naquele momento.
