करेण वामेन जघान लीलया तं कालनेमिं ह्यसुरं महाबलम् । तेनैव शूलेन समाहतोऽसौ मूर्च्छान्वितोऽसौ सहसा पपात
kareṇa vāmena jaghāna līlayā taṃ kālanemiṃ hyasuraṃ mahābalam | tenaiva śūlena samāhato'sau mūrcchānvito'sau sahasā papāta
Com a mão esquerda, brincando, golpeou aquele poderoso asura Kalanemi. Então, atingido por aquele mesmo tridente, caiu imediatamente, vencido pelo desmaio.
