लिंगरूपेण तद्ग्रस्तं विमलं चाकरोत्तदा । सदेवासुरमर्त्याश्च सर्वाणि त्रिजगन्ति च । तत्क्षणाद्रक्षितान्येव कृपया परया युतः

Transliteration

liṃgarūpeṇa tadgrastaṃ vimalaṃ cākarottadā | sadevāsuramartyāśca sarvāṇi trijaganti ca | tatkṣaṇādrakṣitānyeva kṛpayā parayā yutaḥ

Translation

Assumindo a forma do Liṅga, ele engoliu aquele veneno e o tornou puro. Naquele instante, os três mundos—com deuses, asuras e mortais—foram protegidos, pois ele era dotado de suprema compaixão.
