तदा वृतो महादेवो वरेण परमेण हि । योऽयं त्वया हतो देव मम पुत्रो न संशयः
tadā vṛto mahādevo vareṇa parameṇa hi | yo'yaṃ tvayā hato deva mama putro na saṃśayaḥ
Então Mahādeva foi suplicado com a dádiva suprema: «Ó Deus, este a quem mataste é meu filho; disso não há dúvida».
