Transliteration

tataḥ kusumabāṇena śaravrātairbhṛśaṃ hataḥ | pitaraṃ praṇato gatvā yayāce tāṃ bhṛgūdvaham

Translation

Então, duramente ferido pelas saraivadas de flechas de flores, fui ao encontro de seu pai, prostrei-me em reverência e lhe roguei a mão dela em casamento — ele, o mais eminente dos Bhṛgu.
