Type: ghat
Listener: Barbarīka
Scene: The Pāṇḍavas with Draupadī journey toward the ford; water vessels and travel gear; Bhīma singled out as pilgrim; the tīrtha waters shimmer invitingly.
Pilgrimage and tīrtha-bathing are upheld as dharmic acts worthy of divine protection; sacred travel is meant for purification, not harm.
A tīrtha at the ocean-shore setting is referenced, but the verse does not provide a distinct proper name for the site.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at the tīrtha is explicitly stated as the purpose of the visit.
