ततः पित्रा चिरं स्मृत्वा चिरं चाघ्राय मूर्धनि । चिरं दोर्भ्यां परिष्वज्य चिरंजीवेत्यु दाहृतः
tataḥ pitrā ciraṃ smṛtvā ciraṃ cāghrāya mūrdhani | ciraṃ dorbhyāṃ pariṣvajya ciraṃjīvetyu dāhṛtaḥ
Então o pai, lembrando-se dele por muito tempo e aspirando por muito tempo o perfume de sua cabeça, abraçou-o longamente com ambos os braços e disse: “Que vivas longos anos!”
