अस्य तीरे द्विजं चैकं मृष्टान्नैर्यश्च तर्पयेत् । तेन श्रद्धासहायेन कोटिर्भवति तर्पिता
asya tīre dvijaṃ caikaṃ mṛṣṭānnairyaśca tarpayet | tena śraddhāsahāyena koṭirbhavati tarpitā
Quem, nesta margem sagrada, sacia ainda que um só brāhmaṇa com alimento escolhido—amparado pela fé—colhe fruto como se tivesse saciado um koṭi (um crore).
