नारद उवाच । अहल्या शापमापन्ना गौतमात्किल फाल्गुन । पुरा चेंद्रसमायोगे परं दुःखमुपागता
nārada uvāca | ahalyā śāpamāpannā gautamātkila phālguna | purā ceṃdrasamāyoge paraṃ duḥkhamupāgatā
Disse Nārada: “Ó Phālguna, conta-se que Ahalyā caiu sob a maldição de Gautama; e outrora, por seu encontro com Indra, mergulhou em profunda tristeza.”
