न त्वं कृतः केवलसंश्रुतश्च यजुष्येवं व्याहरत्यादिदेव । चतुर्विधा भारती दूरदूरं धृष्टः स्तौमि स्वार्थकामः क्षमैतत्
na tvaṃ kṛtaḥ kevalasaṃśrutaśca yajuṣyevaṃ vyāharatyādideva | caturvidhā bhāratī dūradūraṃ dhṛṣṭaḥ staumi svārthakāmaḥ kṣamaitat
Ó Deus Primordial, Tu não és algo feito, nem apenas algo de que se ouviu falar; e, no entanto, o Yajus Veda fala de Ti assim. A Palavra, em suas quatro formas, alcança apenas de longe; ainda assim, impelido por minha própria necessidade, ouso louvar-Te—perdoa isto.
