संप्रविश्यान्नमध्ये तु पृथगन्नपृथग्जलम् । अग्नेरूर्ध्वं जलं स्थाप्य तदन्नं तज्जलोपरि
saṃpraviśyānnamadhye tu pṛthagannapṛthagjalam | agnerūrdhvaṃ jalaṃ sthāpya tadannaṃ tajjalopari
Ao penetrar na massa do alimento, ele separa o alimento da água. Colocando a água acima do fogo digestivo, dispõe o alimento sobre essa água.
