भवन्त्येतानि सर्वाणि लुब्धानामकृतात्मनाम् । सुमहां त्यपि सास्त्राणि धारयंति बहुश्रुताः
bhavantyetāni sarvāṇi lubdhānāmakṛtātmanām | sumahāṃ tyapi sāstrāṇi dhārayaṃti bahuśrutāḥ
Todos esses defeitos surgem nos gananciosos que não refinaram o próprio ser. Mesmo os muito eruditos, que ouviram muito e retêm vastas escrituras, ainda assim caem neles.
