ये तप्यंते गतैः पापैः शुचयो देवताव्रताः । इह ते पुत्रपौत्रैश्च मोदंतेऽमुत्र चेह च
ye tapyaṃte gataiḥ pāpaiḥ śucayo devatāvratāḥ | iha te putrapautraiśca modaṃte'mutra ceha ca
Aqueles que praticam a austeridade após terem seus pecados removidos—puros e firmes nos votos dedicados às divindades—alegram-se aqui com filhos e netos, e também no além; regozijam-se tanto lá quanto cá.
