Transliteration

savitā paramo devaḥ sarvasvaṃ vā dvijanmanām | vedavedāṃgagītaśca tvamapyenaṃ sadā bhaja

Translation

Savitṛ (o Sol) é a divindade suprema, o tudo-em-tudo dos duas-vezes-nascidos. É louvado nos Vedas e nos Vedāṅgas; por isso, tu também deves adorá-lo sempre.
