Transliteration

eko vedaścatuṣpādaiḥ kriyate dvijahetave | itihāsapurāṇāni bhidyaṃte lokagauravāt

Translation

O Veda único torna-se quádruplo em favor dos dvija (duas-vezes-nascidos); e os Itihāsa e Purāṇa também são diferenciados, para a honra e a orientação do mundo.
