वयं च तत्र याताः स्मो धनलोभेन नारद । दुर्बोधत्वान्नमस्कृत्य श्लोकं चात्र समागताः
vayaṃ ca tatra yātāḥ smo dhanalobhena nārada | durbodhatvānnamaskṛtya ślokaṃ cātra samāgatāḥ
Ó Nārada, movidos pela cobiça de riqueza fomos até lá; e, por ser o śloka difícil de compreender, após reverenciá-lo com respeito, viemos reunir-nos aqui com esse mesmo śloka.
