तस्य नाम ददौ स्कंदः सिद्धकूप इति स्मृतः । कृष्माष्टम्यां चतुर्दश्यामुपवासी नरः स्वयम्
tasya nāma dadau skaṃdaḥ siddhakūpa iti smṛtaḥ | kṛṣmāṣṭamyāṃ caturdaśyāmupavāsī naraḥ svayam
Skanda deu-lhe um nome; é lembrado como “Siddhakūpa” (o Poço da Realização). Em Kṛṣṇāṣṭamī e no décimo quarto dia lunar, o homem deve jejuar por si mesmo.
