Ali Guha (Skanda) construiu um poço, e de suas profundezas a Gaṅgā irrompeu. E no décimo quarto dia lunar da quinzena escura do mês de Māgha, deve-se ali realizar o tarpaṇa, a libação oferecida aos Pitṛ (antepassados).
