Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 96

एवमुक्ते विघ्नराज्ञा प्रतीतेऽस्थापयच्च तम् । तस्मादसौ सदाभ्यर्च्यश्चतुर्थ्यां च विशेषतः

evamukte vighnarājñā pratīte'sthāpayacca tam | tasmādasau sadābhyarcyaścaturthyāṃ ca viśeṣataḥ

Tendo Vighnarāja assim falado e consentido, ele estabeleceu aquela divindade. Por isso deve ser sempre adorada, especialmente no dia de Caturthī, o quarto dia lunar.
