एवं वदति सा देवी द्रष्टुं तमुत्सुकाऽभवत् । शंकरश्च महातेजाः पुत्रस्नेहाधिको यतः
evaṃ vadati sā devī draṣṭuṃ tamutsukā'bhavat | śaṃkaraśca mahātejāḥ putrasnehādhiko yataḥ
Ao falar assim, a Deusa ficou ansiosa por vê-lo. E Śaṅkara também—embora de esplendor imenso—foi ainda mais tocado pelo amor ao seu filho.
