Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 11

त्रैलोक्यदानवान्सर्वान्दग्धुं शक्तः क्षणादहम् । दुर्जस्तारकः किं तु मुक्त्वा सप्तदिनं शिशुम्

Transliteration

trailokyadānavānsarvāndagdhuṃ śaktaḥ kṣaṇādaham | durjastārakaḥ kiṃ tu muktvā saptadinaṃ śiśum

Translation

“Sou capaz, num só instante, de reduzir a cinzas todos os Dānavas dos três mundos. Contudo, Tāraka, difícil de vencer—após libertar a criança de sete dias—permanece um caso à parte.”
