जंभकश्चैव सप्तत्या शुंभो दशभिरेव च । शेषा दैत्ये श्वराः सव विष्णुमेकैकशः शरैः
jaṃbhakaścaiva saptatyā śuṃbho daśabhireva ca | śeṣā daitye śvarāḥ sava viṣṇumekaikaśaḥ śaraiḥ
Jambhaka feriu-o com setenta flechas, e Śumbha com dez; e os demais senhores dos Dānavas, um após outro, investiram contra Viṣṇu com seus dardos.
