जघ्नतुस्तौ रणे दैत्यमेकैकं षष्टिभिः शरैः । निर्भिद्य ते महादैत्यं सपुंखा विविशुर्महीम्
jaghnatustau raṇe daityamekaikaṃ ṣaṣṭibhiḥ śaraiḥ | nirbhidya te mahādaityaṃ sapuṃkhā viviśurmahīm
Na batalha, aqueles dois atingiram o Daitya, cada qual com sessenta flechas. Traspassando o grande Daitya, as flechas—com as penas ainda presas—penetraram na terra.
