मोहयामास दैत्येन्द्रो जगत्कृत्वा तमोमयम् । ततो विफलनेत्राणि दानवानां बलानि च
Transliteration
mohayāmāsa daityendro jagatkṛtvā tamomayam | tato viphalanetrāṇi dānavānāṃ balāni ca
Translation
O senhor dos Daityas confundiu a todos, fazendo o mundo como se fosse feito de trevas; então as hostes dos Dānavas ficaram com a visão inútil.
