अग्निरूपेण तस्याश्च स ददाह महाश्रमम् । चकर्ष वायुरूपेण महोग्रेण च तां शुभाम् । एवं सिहवृकाद्याभिर्भीषिकाभिः पुनःपुनः
agnirūpeṇa tasyāśca sa dadāha mahāśramam | cakarṣa vāyurūpeṇa mahogreṇa ca tāṃ śubhām | evaṃ sihavṛkādyābhirbhīṣikābhiḥ punaḥpunaḥ
Na forma de fogo, ele queimou o grande āśrama dela; e na forma de um vento feroz e violentíssimo, arrastou aquela mulher auspiciosa. Assim, repetidas vezes, por aparições terríveis—leões, lobos e semelhantes—procurou abalar sua firmeza.
