pauṣe māsyarkadivase yaḥ snātvā bhāskarodaye | dānahomaṃjapaṃkuryādarcāmarkasya suvrata

Translation

Ó homem de excelente voto: no mês de Pauṣa, no dia sagrado do Sol, após banhar-se ao nascer de Bhāskara, quem praticar caridade, oferenda ao fogo (homa) e japa, e venerar o Sol, alcança o mérito prometido.
