Skanda (deduced: Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A tranquil community unconcerned with almanacs or festival bustle: no ritual calendars, no astrological paraphernalia; people relaxed, working and resting in harmony under an even, unchanging light.
The verse highlights a paradox often used in Purāṇas: by accumulated merit or a special realm’s nature, beings may enjoy ease without conscious ritual observance.
The Kāśīkhaṇḍa context points to Kāśī’s wider sacred framework, but this verse itself does not name a specific tirtha.
No prescription is given; rather, it notes the absence of calendrical observances (tithi, vāra, saṅkrānti, parva).
