Transliteration

na ca kanyāvivāhārthaṃ vasu kvāpi mayārpitam | iha saukhyasamṛddhyarthaṃ divyakanyārpakaṃ divi

Translation

Nem jamais ofereci riqueza, em lugar algum, para realizar o casamento de uma donzela. Nesta vida, por conforto e prosperidade, não pratiquei a dádiva que, no céu, concede o fruto de oferecer uma donzela celeste.
