Type: kshetra
Listener: null
Scene: Brahmā/Dhātṛ holds a balance: on one pan ‘dāna’ (gold, cows), on the other ‘paropakāra’ (feeding, healing); the paropakāra side outweighs, with Kāśī ghats in the background.
Service to others is presented as a higher dharma than merit gained through charity alone, because it directly alleviates suffering.
No specific tīrtha is named; the verse is a dharma-principle embedded within the Kāśīkhaṇḍa setting.
Dāna is referenced, but the practical prescription is paropakṛti—active help and support of others.
