यावज्जीवमहं भूयां त्वत्पादोदकपायिनी । खखोल्कानि पतेदेषा भृशगद्गदभाषिणी
yāvajjīvamahaṃ bhūyāṃ tvatpādodakapāyinī | khakholkāni patedeṣā bhṛśagadgadabhāṣiṇī
«Enquanto eu viver, que eu permaneça como aquela que bebe a água que lavou teus pés.» E ela, com a voz sufocada por intenso tremor, em sua confusão, deixou escapar: «khakholkāni…».
