skaṃda uvāca | lolārkasya ca māhātmyamuttarārkasya ca dvija | kathitaṃ te mahābhāga sāṃbādityaṃ niśāmaya

Skanda disse: «Ó duas-vezes-nascido, ó sábio afortunado, eu te narrei a grandeza de Lolārka e de Uttarārka. Agora escuta o relato de Sāmbāditya.»
