अयि काशि विनाशिताघसंघे तवविश्लेषजआशुशुक्षणिः । अमृतांशुकलामृदुद्रवैरतिचित्रंहविषेव वर्धते
ayi kāśi vināśitāghasaṃghe tavaviśleṣajaāśuśukṣaṇiḥ | amṛtāṃśukalāmṛdudravairaticitraṃhaviṣeva vardhate
Ó Kāśī, destruidora de montes de pecado! A dor, que seca depressa, nascida da separação de ti, aumenta—de modo estranho—como o fogo da oferenda que se aviva quando é alimentado com ghee amolecido pelos raios nectáreos da lua.
