Transliteration

kusuṃbhavāsā daṃḍāḍhyo bhikṣāśī khyātivarjitaḥ | alābudārumṛdveṇu pātraṃ śastaṃ na paṃcamam

Translation

Vestindo roupas tingidas com cártamo (kusumbha), portando um bastão, vivendo de esmolas e evitando a fama: recomenda-se que sua tigela seja de cabaça, madeira, barro ou bambu; uma quinta não é aprovada.
